The food is AMAZING and the staff is so polite!

I will never go back to this place nasty and the fly,s were all over. When i told the girl who asked how we were going about the fly problem so said oh i kniw they are bad. And it wad $30.00 for food. I only put a star becouse i had to before i could post

We just wanted some BBQ, stopped in, not knowing the place. Has to be some of the best BBQ around! The whole meal, sides and all was very good! If we want BBQ from now on, that's where we will go!

Hometown friendly staff and the most tender and tasty pulled pork in Southern Illinois. They smoke their meat right behind the restaurant. People often rave about their breakfast but I've never had the opportunity.

Chuck used to be in Zeigler, but they bought the old taco johns in Herrin. The food is really good quality and the waitresses have been working there for years. Our church goes here all the time. Great BBQ

Best catfish dinner in the area. Staff is super friendly, and extremely thorough on making sure your order is correct, and the food is perfect. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon to get my mom some fish. I decided to have the same. I'm sure glad I did and I plan to go by again and again. Stop in and get ya some!

The last time I was there there was a really racist conversation going on. The whole resturant could hear it. I left.

Sliced pork sandwich had good flavor, but meat was as tough as leather. Next time, I will order pulled pork sandwich.

I got catfish dinner and it was great! Good service, and comfort food. I always enjoy it here. My husband got a French dip and it was one of the best we've had.

Very good bbq,got it to go they have a drive thru you can get it sliced or chopped and I perfer it chopped up and it was excellent but I wasn't thrilled with their sauce so I added my own at home ,very fast and good ! I recommend trying it and I eat alot of bbq !

Ate bbq twice there. Sandwich great. Ribs were almost as good. Service impeccable. Good to see them hiring high schoolers and training them right.

I bring my Nana here 2-3 times week. They have the have the best frys I have ever had. The fried Catfish is also amazing. We love it here.

Yes!!! We got the pulled pork bbq sandwiches with chow and wow just wow, so good!

Our order was completely messed up from the jump.. there was things that we ordered that did not get put in. And I wasn't turning around and waiting for the stuff to get fixed cuz it took forever

Soo good the catfish and ribs are great. The fried okra was on point and the baked beans were almost as good as my Aunt Gayla's which is saying something. I definitely recommend you try it next time your in town.

It wasn't terrible, but I was expecting more. We got beef brisket, fries, spicy cauliflower, country fried steak, mashed potatoes, and cheese filled pretzel bites. The brisket wasn't juicy, but it wasn't dry. It has a nice smoke ring and smoky taste. The fries and cauliflower portions were too small. The potatoes were under seasoned/under buttered. I included a picture of the pretzel bites. They weren't what we expected and my wife didn't like them. Note: lettuce, tomato, etc., cost extra for your burger. All in all, I wanted more and better for my money.

Love the sliced BBQ sandwiches and the sauce. Good prices! Try to eat here every time I visit Herrin.

Ordered for pickup, spare ribs and a ribeye sandwich with a side of fried pickles and fried okra. Everything is to die for. Will be eating again. Worth the food-baby 😂

BBQ sauce is a little strange tasting but it'll do, it's the only bbq place in town

This is my 3rd time this week to try a different soup each day and they have been all Gourmet which honestly I didn't expect from a bbq place.Had;Sausage and chicken gumbo full of flavor but not very spicyRoasted red pepper and gouda bisque so creamy with tomato texture Veggie beef stewButternut squash Had tiramisu and apple dumpling a la mode

Food was excellent. I had BBQ, husband had BBQ platter and my mom had BBQ nachos. All our food was excellent. Service was great. Prices very reasonable. Only 1 dirty table which they cleaned up immediately. Restrooms were very clean. It was a very nice dining experience. Will definitely be going back. The food was great. Serving sizes are quite large also.

Best bbq in Southern Illinois... Great breakfast

The service was friendly. I ordered the brisket dinner. Two pieces tasted reheated from yesterday and the other two were too tough to eat. The side salad was good but small. The mashed potatoes were good. They seemed to be homemade. But to be called a barbecue restaurant, the actual barbecue should be good.

I loved it the service was GREAT! Food was prepared the way I asked the first time. Also Friendly atmosphere I felt like I was at home. Highly recommended!! Bathrooms were clean. 10+ rating in my book!
